上面这四个问题来自剑14，Test 2的口语部分。其实类似的part 1话题2019年1-4月份的真题预测里并没有出现。但是在之前16，17年都有出现过。这四个问题有一个共同的点就是“Social Media”那我们就从审题开始，题目里提到的social mediawebsite 和social media代表的是同一种东西吗？
Social media: Websites and applicationsthat enable users to create and share content or to participate in socialnetworking
从字典对social media的解释来看social media是比较general的一种说法。然而在Social media中分别能分成social media application和social media website两种。
我们先来拓展一些general knowledge，列举different categories of social media:
1.Social networking sites / applications: They are Jill of all tradessince users can share thoughts, upload photos and videos, form groups based ontheir interests. (ex: Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo)
2.Social review sites / applications: Display reviews from communitymembers for all kinds of entertainments, experiences, comments and locations.People use it to plan a trip, book hotels and buy transportation tickets. (ex:Yelp, TripAdvisor, Ctrip)
3.Image sharing sites / applications: Mainly about visual content suchas images because sometime a picture can be worth to thousands of words. (ex:Instagram, Snapchat, Wechat)
4.Video hosting sites: Users put their thoughts or contents togetheron a video and sites help them to optimized for streaming. (ex: YouTube)
5.Discussion sites: People carry out heated discussion and anyone isfree to ask any questions and state their viewpoints and most of times usersare anonyms. (ex: Reddit, Quora, Douban)
上面一共总结了5种不同种类的社交软件/网站，他们的特点和一些例子。接下来我们具体看下剑14，Test 2 口语部分。
1. Which social media websitesdo you use? 你平时会用哪些社交网站？
I have to say that I am not a huge fan ofsocial media websites because it is quite time-consuming. However, there is onesocial media site that I do use quite often, which is Zhihu, Chinese Quora. It isa discussion website that allows people to carry out some heated discussion andanyone can ask any questions and state their viewpoint freely because majorityof users are anonyms. Other than that, there is another thing that reallystands out which is the diversity of contents relates to various works of like.For students, they can easily gain advices on learning English at differentaspects from others as green hands, how to get register in IELTS test or how tocomplete applications for universities.

这些用法、词组可能大家都认识，但是真正能流利用到口语上的中国学生实在是很少。所以大家平时不仅要背、读，还有练怎么把学到的东西用出来！！！
回答这个问题的第一步也是很重要的一步就是听清楚，考官specifically askfor social media websites!!! 所以一定不要回答WeChat这种platform或者application。可能有同学会说微信现在也有网页版的。没错，但是有其他更好的选择为什么要打这么擦边球呐，是吧！
接下来我们分析讲解下范文的逻辑：
I have to say that I am not a huge fan ofsocial media websites because it is quite time-consuming.
最开始给考官一个background “我对这种社交软件不是很感兴趣”。可能大家会想一般第一句话不应该直接回答问题吗？！ 没错！ 但Part 1需要做到的是daily conversation所以可以适当的像平常聊天一样。所以如果直接问答，就会给人比较僵硬、刻意的感觉，也就是有种为了回答而回答的感觉。
比如，我们用中文举个例子：
Q：你平时看什么电影？
A：我平常没太多时间看电影，但是如果有空的话我一般会看xxx电影。
很明显，我们日常生活中针对类似的问题也都不是会直接回答的。

之后第二句话就是用来回答考官的问题了，“我平常有一个用的比较多的社交网站是，知乎”。

因为考官可能不知道知乎是什么，所以可以适当的介绍一下这个网站算什么类别的。“知乎的话，它是discussion sites（讨论网站），并且这个网站允许用户们对一些话题展开激烈的讨论”。
… and anyone can ask any questions andstate their viewpoint freely because majority of users are anonyms. Other thanthat, there is another thing that really stands out which is the diversity ofcontents relates to various works of like. For students, they can easily gainadvices on learning English at different aspects from others as green hands,how to get register in IELTS test or how to complete applications foruniversities.
接下来继续拓展到它的好处、优势，延伸到细节（这里可以套用之前给每一个种类做的解释）。
1.任何人都可以在上面匿名的问任何问题并且陈述他们的观点。
2.网站包含了大量的、多种类的内容。比如教新手怎么去注册各种考试，或者一些学习英语的一些建议或者经验。
范文的观点是不太喜欢，所以间接地举了一个其他的常用平台，也就是“知乎的例子”。当然，同学们也可以举其他的例子。或者也可以更改观点—— 就是“平时很喜欢浏览社交网站”。进而用一个社交网站去拓展part 1 内容。
无论如何，还是要提醒同学们，合适自己的是最好的！！！
