Some people think the most important thingabout being rich is that it gives person an opportunity to help other people.To what extent do you agree or disagree?

这篇作文需要我们对和贫富差距与社会公平相关的话题有所了解。你是不是说到穷人还是只想到the poor？形容慷慨的品质只能想到generous？

让词汇多元化，不出现第二次是雅思作文得到较高分数的保障，因此同学们在平时的学习中要注意积累常用词汇。但不能因为求新而使用不恰当的表达。准确始终是我们首要的追求！

那么接下来就为大家带来一些相关词汇和句型的实用讲解：

moral obligation 道德义务

例句：For those who agree with this statement, moral obligation is usuallya primary argument. 

capital accumulation 资本积累

例句：The rich are not morally innocent because all kinds of capitalaccumulation come along with a deterioration of the deprived.

deprived/disadvantaged/underprivileged  贫穷的

解析：在作文中我们经常会说到穷人，我们可以用the deprived, the underprivileged来表达。减少the poor的使用。

charitable/public-spirited 乐善好施的

解析：慈善的，有公共精神的。可以减少generous的重复。

extreme poverty 赤贫

例句：In a generation that people are more tightly bound than ever, it isunprecedentedly hard to ignore the extreme poverty in developing regions.

a supreme pursuit 至高的追求；beexclusive to 专为....所独有

例句：Although equality has been accepted as a supreme pursuit ofinternational world, this moral tenet should not be exclusive to the rich.

comprehensive/elaborated 完备详尽的，通盘的

解析：不要一说到全面就是all-around了，这些词也可以用哦！

compassionate/sympathetic/merciful 富有同情心的

participatory 参与式的

解析：当我们想要去建议一种参与性强的社会机制或者组织的时候，我们都可以用这个词。比如participatory democracy表示公众参与的民主，participatorydecision表示公众参与的决策。
